Manufacturing Facilities

cnc
CNC Machine
Computer Numeric Control is the automation of machine tools that are operated by precisely programmed commands encoded on a storage medium (computer command module, usually located on the device) as opposed to controlled manually by hand wheels or levers, or mechanically automated by cams alone. Most NC today is computer (or computerized) numerical control (CNC),[2] in which computers play an integral part of the control.
planer
Planer & Thicknesser
A thickness planer is a woodworking machine to trim boards to a consistent thickness throughout their length and flat on both surfaces.
edgebander
Edge Bander
Edge banding is used to cover the exposed sides of materials such as plywood, particle board or MDF, increasing durability and giving the appearance of a solid or more valuable material. Common substitutes for edgebanding include face frames or molding.
spindlemoulder
Spindle Moulder
A stationary woodworking machine in which a vertically oriented spindle drives cutter heads to mill profiles on wood stock. The spindle may be raised and lowered relative to the shaper's table, and rotates between 3,000 and 10,000 rpm, with stock running along a vertical fence.
morticer
Morticer
A mortiser or morticer is a specialized woodworking machine used to cut square or rectangular holes in a piece of lumber (timber), such as a mortise in a mortise and tenon joint.
tennener
Tenoner
Tenoners are woodworking machines that are used to produce tenons, projecting wooden members that fit into a mortise.
Panel_saw
Panel Saw
A panel saw is any type of sawing machine with a sliding table that cuts sheets into sized parts.[1] A sliding panel saw was invented by Wilhelm Altendorf in 1906 in Germany.[2] Its invention set a new standard in woodworking, with dramatic differences from traditional machines. Up to that time, a conventional table saw had no mechanism for edging. Meaning that for the first and second longitudinal cut on untreated massive wood, the lumber always had to be fed manually through the saw blade. The new system accomplished the task more elegantly by allowing the work piece to be fed through the saw blade while lying on a sliding table. Thus cutting becomes faster, accurate and effortless.
spraybooth
Spray Booth
A spray booth is a pressure controlled closed environment. To ensure the ideal working conditions (temperature, air flow and humidity), these environments are equipped with one or more groups of ventilation, consisting of one or more motors and one or more burners to heat the air blown. In order to assist in the removal of the over sprayed paint from the air and to provide efficient operation of the down-draft, water-washed paint spray booths utilize paint detackifying chemical agents.
